Hey there, We are SleepAbility Consulting!
Here at SleepAbility Consulting we believe every single child deserves sleep, no matter their ability or diagnosis. We want to empower families with understanding, compassion, support and the knowledge they need to get their child sleeping better.
We are here to tell you that your child can learn healthy sleep habits. They can sleep for longer stretches without using you as a prop and they can get to sleep in a reasonable amount of time AND stay asleep. Your child can learn all of this without using a traditional cry-it-out method, potentially causing extra anxiety surrounding bedtime.
How do we know this?
Because we have not only done the same program with our own neurodivergent children, but we have worked with many, many families who have taken our recommendations, put in the work, and been consistent with the program to get their child and entire families sleeping better.
AND YOU CAN TOO! With us to guide you every step of the way!
"We worked with Brittany who transformed our most dreaded time of day into a calm, comfortable routine that is sustainable and allows all of us to get the rest we need. Her knowledge surrounding not only sleep science but nutrition, activity levels and perhaps most importantly, a deep understanding of the special needs of children made me feel like I had a village behind me. I can’t say enough good things!"

"We had a great experience getting our 6 year old daughter to sleep in her own bed all night. I would definitely recommend Robyn if you are struggling in the sleep department."

Robyn's Journey ...
Hello, I’m Robyn and I’m so glad you’re here!
My journey into sleep consulting really started after my first child was born. Like many new parents, I was overwhelmed by the challenges of sleep (or lack thereof!) and found myself reading everything I could find, talking to friends, and consulting professionals to try and get a better handle on things. By the time my son came along, we felt better prepared—but then we entered the world of autism, which brought a whole new set of sleep challenges. So, I dove in even deeper, learning everything I could to help my son sleep better.
With my background as a registered nurse and my experience as a mom navigating both typical and special needs parenting, it became clear to me that helping other families facing similar challenges was the perfect fit. I know how important sleep is, not just for our children’s growth and development, but for our own well-being as parents. It can be a challenge to navigate, but with the right support and strategies, it becomes an opportunity to create positive change for the whole family.
By combining my clinical nursing knowledge with my personal experiences, I offer a compassionate, practical approach to sleep coaching for children with special needs. My goal is to empower families to create personalized sleep solutions that work for them — because good sleep is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves and our kids.
When I’m not helping families get better sleep, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family and friends enjoying the Florida sunshine. I'm also passionate about volunteering and advocating for special needs education and support in my community.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better sleep — for both you and your child!
"We were really struggling with our child's sleep. We found Robyn and she was gentle, patient, and understanding of our family dynamics. She provided us with a tailored sleep plan and one on one support to help get our child sleeping!"

"We worked with Brittany for months to get our ND daughter sleeping back in her own bed again after a lot of stressors in our family and a recent move. I loved that the plan each week was very clear, with plenty of resources for the "what ifs" but it was still very calm and relaxed, we took everything at our daughter's speed and didn't push too hard. Instead of rigid inflexibility or cry it out when it comes to sleep training, this was gentle, flexible and adaptable to our family's needs and wants. We have worked with multiple sleep consultants in the past but none had the knowledge to work and adapt to the specialized needs of ND kids/kids on the spectrum like Brittany does. I would not hesitate to recommend or work with Brittany again. You will not regret choosing to work with her, it was money very well spent! Thank you so much for getting our house back to a peaceful nights rest for everyone!!"

Brittany's Journey ...
Hi, I’m Brittany! I’m a mom of four, including two amazing children with special needs, living a simple life in the beautiful North Georgia mountains filled with faith, football, and family.
With over a decade of experience as a Pediatric Developmental Therapist, I have worked with many different diagnoses including, ADHD, ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Anxiety, PDA, SPD, GDD, OCD, HIE, ARFID, Down Syndrome and other genetic disorders . Guided by my professional background and my personal journey, I am passionate about helping families achieve restful, restorative sleep—without cry-it-out methods.
My journey began with my own family’s struggles. My third child, after a traumatic birth, was diagnosed with HIE, ASD, SPD, severe anxiety, and ADHD. Sleep became a daily battle of co-sleeping, restless nights, and constant wakeups. We tried medications and traditional advice, but nothing worked. Like many parents, I was told, “This is just how it is for kids with disabilities,” and for a while, I accepted it—until my fourth child started facing the same struggles and later diagnosed with Autism and ARFID. That’s when I knew I had to find a better way.
I discovered Melissa Doman, a renowned special needs sleep consultant, and trained extensively with her team. Combining her neurodiversity-affirming approach with my professional expertise and personal experience, I helped my two neurodivergent children achieve peaceful, independent sleep. Today, all four of my kids sleep through the night in their own beds, and our family life has been transformed.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless families with children who face unique challenges find the same success. I understand the exhaustion and frustration, but I also know the hope and joy that come with restful nights. Your child’s unique needs deserve a compassionate, customized approach, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s work together to help your family find the sleep you deserve!
"Robyn helped our family so much! She truly understood what our child needed in order to get to sleep and stay a sleep. We would highly recommend Robyn if you are struggling to get your child to sleep."

"My husband and I were desperate to help our two year old sleep through the night in his own bed in his own room. Brittany met with us, understood our needs and goals, created a plan, and guided us throughout the entire journey. I give this company and Brittany my highest recommendation. You won’t be alone in this process and you will be successful if you follow their sleep plan. My son is now an amazing sleeper!"

Let's work together to make bedtime a calm and cherished experience for both you and your family.
